Which coffee aromas are to your taste?

SWEETNESS

Characteristic of coffees having the most volatile flavours. It is a property associated with qualities such as fruity, chocolate-flavored, or caramelized. It is possible to find a chocolate taste in the Mocha og Yemen and in the Java of Indonesia.

BODY

Gives the sensation of fullness in the mouth. This is a characteristic of coffees such as : Brazilian Santos, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, Mocha, Kenya, Mandheling Sumatra, Java or Kalossi Celebes.

ASTRINGENT

Coffee that provokes the tensing of the mucous membrane.

ROUGH

Coffee that provokes the tensing of the mucous membrane.

BITTER

This is the desired coffee flavour, up to a point. It is characteristic of Robusta coffee.

SOUR

Unpleasant yet natural acidic flavour, it is slightly like sour milk.

ACRID

Hotly spiced flavour, quite disagreeable, it is found in coffee of inferior quality.

ACID

Slightly acidic taste, it is characteristic of the Arabica coffee grown at high altitude.
